My Wife Kathy

Kathy is a wonderful person. She is my best friend and we have been through alot. I have known her for 11 years and been married to her for almost 6. She is a truely good person. I wanted to take a moment and write about her. She has gone through 4 back surgeries since 12/2004. The last two took place November 2009. She is in chronic pain every day. Even with all of her pain she is a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loves her family very much.

No one other that myself really understands what all she has to go through. Kathy is in so much pain every day. The is unable to walk most of the time. She takes some very strong medicine that she hates taking. For the most part it is because the medicine does not work but it is also because it can cause so many problems. She has tried to lower her intake but due to the frequency that the doctors have prescribed it has made it a hard task. She gets really sick when she does not take the full doses. I am writing this so everyone that reads this will know Kathy is in terrible pain. I am afraid that there are a lot of people that knows her that can not appreciate how much pain she is in. I even think some of these people think she makes it up. For these people I say it is not your place to judge but to love. The bible says “love thy neighbor like thy self” I don’t think there is anyone of us that is going to say to themselves. You are not feeling bad when we are sick. We all love ourselves so there for we should love each other. There are too many fake people in the world. They say all kinds of stuff to your face or in todays world they say it on face book but they are liars. GOD knows what is in everyone’s hearts and one day we will face judgement for it. It is no one on this planet’s job to judge but so many of us can not do anything productive cause we find it much enjoyable judging. The bible warns us of judging. So getting back to my point. If you are a friend or family member of Kathy. Email her, give her a call. She really can use your support. Don’t fade a way in the dark and act like this is not happening. Would you want her to blow you off the next time you need her? I didn’t think so. So take care of your duty and reach out to her. GOD will bless you for it.

My daughter wrote earlier about people being f.o.s. She is right. There are so many people in this world that are as real as a Bill Clinton dollar bill. I will never forget growing up in a small baptist church and seeing how people acted so differently on Sunday than during the rest of the week. It prepared me for adult life when this is a very common occurance. For some reason people find it makes their lives more interesting talking about others or making fun. People bring joy to their lives by making other peoples lives miserable. We all just need to remember life is short. Lets make it the best we can. We are all just people and for the most part we all want the same thing. We want our famly to be safe, happy and to have the things they need. Sometimes it is easy to get distracted in life and forget this but after you embrace GODs love your family is the most important thing. Once you realize this then there should not be any room to be f.o.s as my daughter put it. Just be for real. If you want to be nice then act nice. If you want to be a jerk then be a jerk. Who ever or what ever you are just be real. You are only fooling your self. The bible says you reap what you sow. If people used this as a guide in their life this world would be a much better place.

Parents. We may not always be liked but we are usally right.

Daedalus built wings for himself and Icarus, fashioned with feathers held together with wax. Daedalus warned his son not to fly too close to the sun, as it would melt his wings, and not too close to the sea, as it would dampen them and make it hard to fly.They successfully flew from Crete, but Icarus grew exhilarated by the thrill of flying and began getting careless. Flying too close to the sun god Helios, the wax holding together his wings melted from the heat and he fell to his death, drowning in the sea. The point is not if you win or lose but listen to your parents.

Bama Baseball Is Done For 2010

It has been a crazy and wild year for the Tide baseball team. They started off on fire went cold then got hot again. The Tide baseball team came very close to returning to Omaha. It came down to a third game today with Clemson at Clemson in the Super Regional. Clemson got off to a 8 – 1 lead late in the nineth inning. The Tide has two quick outs then the walks and hit start producing runs. The Tide comes within two runs of tieing the score. With a runner on third and second base the last hitter hit a pop fly to end the game and season. David Wells would be proud of what this team has done. Coach Mitch has done very well for his first year. Tide Baseball has not been to a super regional with a very close opportuinity in getting to the college world series. Now it is time to start focussing on the up and coming 2010 football season as Bama comes out to defend it’s 2009 National Championship. Roll Tide Roll
